UPDATE (07/17/2015 21:11:48): As per Telus, they have found the traffic source and already disabled it, Service should be restored. The service is restored at 8:30pm PST
UPDATE (07/17/2015 20:16:28): Latest update we have from the Network Outage, "Our Tier 3 Technician Corey is onsite and still working on the network integrity gathering the packet captures and debugging the info's. " As of now, they haven't give any RFO and ETA for this issue. They promise to give us call back or send us email once they have any update on it.
UPDATE (07/17/2015 16:46:18): Talked to Telus just now and still there is no update on the Outage. We have requested our NOC ticket be prioritized and escalated quickly. Still waiting for a call back from TELUS Escalation Team Management (EMT) as we do not have a direct line for them.
We have confirmed with Telus that there is currently an outage happening in 604 Communities mainly in Burnaby and Langley Area.
Customers may experience Intermittent Connection, Packet loss and No IP issue in some cases. Our request to escalate the example ticket that we have has been denied and advised to wait for their call back once it is fixed or call them back after 1 to 2 hours. It is Core Outage in Telus Radius.
